I signed up for a buy one year get a year free deal.Suspiciously exactly twelve months into this deal my Nord vpn stopped working and i was asked to re subscribe.I contactes support and was accused of 'scraping' i never even knew what it was (apparently its trawling websites to steal info) i only used my vpn on a firestick.A few days ago i received an email saying my account suspended, but the app keeps asking me to re subscribe.It all feels like a load of garbage to stop me getting my free year, and to make me re subscribe.

My account was automatically renewed. I did not wish for this as I no longer want nord vpn. Contacted customer service straight away, they flat out refused to give a refund saying renewal is not refundable. I am certain legally I have a cooling off period of within seven days. They provide no complaint logging service and are happy to refuse refunds, their staff enjoy this, felt like a fool. Everyone makes mistakes or forgets things. I guess it’s funny to them but that renewal money is needed for food, kids, etc. I simply cannot afford it, I contacted them straight away, and they aren’t interested in my well-being. I am no longer using the the vpn. I feel they hide behind the chat application and seemed to not care at all. There is a pandemic and I need all my money. I can’t believe they flat out refused. I spoke to three chat assistants and they were not at all interested in looking into it. They say it’s in the terms and conditions. They say if you buy from an Apple Pay or an app of that ilk it is none refundable. But that isn’t how I paid, furthermore they have a 30 day refund guarantee advertisement on their website and internally on my account screen. I am gutted. What happened to empathy and understanding and doing your best when someone has clearly made a mistake. I also feel genuinely insecure as those chat operatives couldn’t care less and have my security details. I will be seeking advice. Don’t feel safe at all. Been told to wait for the advance teams email. Feel nervous as nord have all my bank details and they have already pushed me into debt. Very worried about tech customer service in general. No compassion, been with nord for three years. Never again. Overdraft will push me to food bank . The chat team won’t give me number as advance team looking into it. But they won’t see the 3 years loyalty, the additional purchases in my household on my recommendation. The £72 is nothing to nord, it’s a months food for my and my family, not much food, but better than having to go beg at the food bank. UPDATE. Staff withholding ticket ID. UPDATE. Wow! This is truly terrifying. Staff will not give me a reference for my complaint. Seeking advice as this is not a way to serve your customers. I have photos of chat to show this. After getting ripped off with SurfShark VPN (a truly worthless VPN that not only doesn't work but has essentially no customer service) I was quite reluctant to try another one. However, my daughter had good results with Nord VPN. I tried it and it was exactly what I had been looking for. I would strongly recommend Nord.

Very bad customer support.Had an offer emailed to me for adding 2 free months Nord VPN to my account balance if I downloaded installed and added master password to NordPass.This I did and was confronted with an alert from my virus checker that ithe exe file was a trojan virus and deleted it. I emailed customer support and this was part of their reply “Our team is investigating why some antivirus software blocks our application. For now, we would recommend you disabling it or exclude/whitelist NordPass application inside your antivirus software.” I realised this, but I would have thought that Nord would have solved this problem before release of the NordPass software, as this would not install a great sense of security in storing all your passwords in it, I re-downloaded NordPass and I ignored warning from my virus checker. Set up software installed master password and expected to see the 2 free months added to my NordVPN account. Nothing appeared. emailed customer support and basically they seemed to no nothing about the offer. They stated “it seems that you did not reply to our previous email. Perhaps the letter ended up in the spam/junk folder. Could you specify if you have created the Master Password as well?Also, please send us a screenshot of the email that showcases the offer for 2-months of NordVPN and the time when the letter was sent.” After many emails pointing out I had replied to their email with proof. They emailed stating some emails they would not open as their security in place was not able to open them in case they were a threat. This installed even more confidence in me as they did not even Know how to open emails in a secure way. I emailed them with a number of concerns that I found with NordPass software and received this reply on the 26th march which they have not done todate 28 April.“ As requested your concerns and questions have been passed on to our upper-managment and will be reviewed shortly.Please be patient and we will get back to you next week. Have been using NordVPN for ages now, always reliable and high uptime and speed connections are the name of the game. If you need to be annonymous online, i'd suggest going with them.

Horrible customer service. Service itself is not great for my needs (to watch sport games). If you are in black out area you cannot switch to different IP based off another area - NordVPN assigns best available IP which is still too close to your area and hence the game is still blocked. Picking IP from another County means delays and lagging not to mention Amazon Fire Stick log you out if you are watching through it.
Do NOT USE your credit cards with NordVPN. They will keep charging it - do card for 1 time payment only. The reason is NordVPN made it very hard to cancel autorenewal! You do it on their website and you are being asked multiple times if you are sure. After you are done you are under impression you are good to go, however it's not the case! You supposed to receive an email asking to confirm cancellation one more time however this email is so unreliable -you might never get it because it almost always goes to spam folder so your cancellation request won't be finalized. Customer service can care less even if they see your attempt to cancel the service and never received email to finalize the request.
Stay away - look for other option and there are better ones!

Bad customer service just joined password would not accept I had to sign in with verification codes constantly informed customer service I am still not able to log in with a password pressed forgot password no success contacted support they sent link to reset password reset password it didn’t accept the new password what I like about Nord it does what I want I’ve tried 3 other VPNs they didn’t work at all but this VPN I can’t login to an account I’ve written numerous emails to customer service and I am yet to be sorted out their service is fast and reliable but I just can’t login please may someone from customer service sort this out you will lose customers something is wrong with the SIGNING IN

I switched to Nord after using Express VPN for 12 months. Express was good with excellent support but suddenly failed to connect from my location (Sarawak) to both BBCiPlayer and ITV Hub which were my #1 requirement for watching catch up videos and despite many fix attempts was never able to connect again to those sites. I have had Nord installed now for around 2 months and initially had no problem with the above-mentioned sites in UK. Now BBCiPlayer is fine but although I can access ITV Hub website and see live TV I cannot again play any videos - continual mesage saying "this video not available at moment" of something similar. Nord support is nowhere up to the standard of Express and have failed to find a solution, as Express also failed. The differnce is that the quality of Nord Support agents in both attitude and knowledge appears significantly below that of Express. I am 89 years old and don't have the expertise of some but their support agents are pretty unsympathetic or interested in helping other than giving off the shelf remedies, asking always for same old screenshots which never resolve anything. I have reported this to Nord but it seems that you cannot contact any other area within Nord apart from support and not surprisingly I guess, they never respond to the criticism. I will keep Nord for its subscription period and I have found a work around to watch some of the ITV Hub catch up on another website but will be looking for an alternative later.

Nord is super easy to use. It has provided consistent security which has settled my peace of mind now that I am living in South America and do not have secure internet. Lucas is especially helpful in troubleshooting and he helped us figure out when my wife's Nord wasn't working.

Support is amazing and the service works wonderfully! Special thanks to Jesse who has been patient and understanding through this hour long process.
